A  little out of  the ordinary!

‘Fair Maiden’ is a sport of ‘Amber Maiden’ with green hearts shaped leaves surrounded by a dramatic white margin, streaking to the centre. Clumps are topped with lavender flowers in early summer.

This wonderful small hosta produces lovely near-white, slightly fragrant flowers with heart-shaped blue-green foliage with good substance. An excellent blue due to its tendency to produce new leaves throughout the season.

‘Frances Williams’ is a large hosta with giant round blue/green leaves with yellowish–green margins. A slow grower. The clumps are topped by white flowers on 40” scapes in mid-summer.

‘Fantabulous’ has pointed, deeply veined, deep green foliage surrounded by a dramatic broad creamy-white margin. The clump is topped by lavender flowers in midsummer.

This spectacular hosta is a sport of ‘Patriot’. The leaves have heavy substance, dark green margins  and white centres. The clump is topped with lavender flowers on white scapes.

‘Fire Island’ features brilliant yellow leaves with rippled margins that emerge on red petioles in the spring. The red extends from the petiole base up into the leaves. Foliage darkens to chartreuse in the summer. A vigorous grower. The clump is topped by lavender flowers. Best if grown in full shade.

HOSTA fortunei ‘AUREOMARGINATA’ (HYLANDER AHS 1987)

This hosta has heart-shaped deep green leaves with narrow yellow margins. The clump is topped with purple flowers from July to August. A great choice for the start of a hosta collection!

HOSTA fortunei ‘HYACINTHINA’ (VON SIEBOLD/HYLANDER AHS 1987)

This hosta feature gray/green leaves on the top side and glaucus  underneath. Clumps are topped by pale lavender flowers in early August.

HOSTA ‘FRIED GREEN TOMATOES’(B SOLBERG 1995)

This  dark green-leafed sport of Guacamole is a vigorous grower with fragrant pale lavender flowers in August.
