Alex Summers’ makes a vase-shaped of dark green leaves bordered by a wide golden border with heavy substance. Clumps are topped by lavender flowers in July.

HOSTA ‘AVOCADO’ (J & B DRESEN 1998)

‘Avocado’ is a sport of Guacamole and features broadly ovate shiny leaves. Chartreuse leaves are bordered by dark green margins.  The clump is topped by fragrant white flowers. Fast grower.

HOSTA ‘ANNA KULPA’ (J KULPA 1999)

‘American Halo’ is a sport of ‘Northern Halo’. This hosta forms a stunning clump of corrugated blue-green leaves surrounded by a wide, rippled, creamy margin. The slow growing clump is topped with white flowers in early to mid-summer. A great specimen!

HOSTA ‘AUGUST MOON’ (LANGFELDER/SUMMERS/RUH 1968)

An “oldie but goodie”. This classic hosta features brilliant gold to chartreuse leaves and tolerates full sun. The more sun it receives the more the gold color of the leaves intensifies. A slug resistant hosta with heart-shaped  corrugated leaves.  A fast grower with pale lavender flowers.

‘Anna Kulpa’ is one of the most distinctive garden-worthy hostas due to it’s striking variegation. The clumps of wide dark green margins are highlighted by a dramatic yellow centre that brightens to ivory.  The leaves are moderately corrugated on ivory petioles with green stripes. Pale lavender  flowers top the clumps in mid-summer

HOSTA undulata ‘ALBOMARGINATA’ (M ZILLIS NR)

This hosta features soft green leaves with a narrow white margin. A very hardy fast grower that is a great choice to start your hosta collection. The clump is topped by lavender flowers in mid summer.

HOSTA fortunei ‘AUREOMARGINATA’ (HYLANDER AHS 1987)

This hosta has heart-shaped deep green leaves with narrow yellow margins. The clump is topped with purple flowers from July to August. A great choice for the start of a hosta collection!
