HOSTA ‘RAINFOREST SUNRISE’ (J ANDERSON NR)

This sport of the popular ‘Striptease’ has dark green leaves with a pure white centre stripe which remains white all season . A very vigorous grower which forms a dense clump quickly. The clumps are topped with violet flowers in midsummer.

HOSTA ‘REGAL SPLENDOR’ (WALTERS GARDENS 1987)

A sport of  ‘Krossa Regal’ has creamy white leaf margins on frosty blue leaves that form a unique vase-shaped mound. The clumps are topped with  orchid flowers in midsummer. “Hosta of the Year 2003”.

HOSTA ‘RASCAL’ (R SOLBERG 1991)

‘Rascal’ is a sport of ‘Gold Regal’ with an interesting variegation pattern. Leaves have  light gold center with chartreuse margin and  are slightly folded inward with some puckering between the veins. Best contrast in brighter light. Medium growth rate. The clump is topped by lavender flowers on  3’ scapes in July.

This beautiful hosta took ‘Best in Show’ at the  1997 National Hosta Convention. ‘Queen of the Sea’ features pointed  blue heart-shaped leaves with a piecrust margin.  In warmer climates, the blue color  fades latter in the growing season. The clump is topped by pale lavender flowers early in the season.
